I recently found a young dog abandoned at my school. I found him with no chip (checked by the police in my area) with his bed and an empty bowl thrown into the bushes where no one could see. He was scared but still kept coming back to this same area where eventually the police and I were able to get him safely. He is a very timid pitbull and for that reason I do not want to take him to the shelter or a facility as he will be euthanized. I am a full time college student who has 4 of my own dogs and 1 foster already so, I am unable to keep him. I have reached out to friends and family as well as neighbors of the area but, there has been no luck. I am desperately trying to find him a good home where he can feel safe and secure so he can gain his confidence back. He is scared of people and good with other dogs. If you take the time to gain his trust he is the most loyal dog. He loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. He walks very well on the leash but just needs to be encouraged to go outside. He truly does deserve a fighting chance and I am desperate for him to find a safe place to thrive.
