Looking for a sweet heart who loves being loved? Roxy is your girl. She's affectionate and wants to be by your side, on your lap, or at least lounging in her bed where she can lovingly look at you from afar. She's a passive doggo who needs support building her confidence. Roxy was brought to me scared to go outside. The prior owner had chosen to rescue her from another person who was not feeding her adequately. Unfortunately this prior owner has disabilities, lived in a small apartment, would lose their temper at her, and did not take Roxy outside, not even to a vet! Knowing that this was not the best environment they offered to give Roxy to me to try to find her a suitable home. She is between 1-2 years old and has a lot to learn about the world. Roxy will benefit from someone who is kind, affectionate, attentive, and motivated to lovingly teach her basic skills and slowly integrate her to going outside more. On that note, she's a good student. She knows sit and down!
