Greta is a red and white piebald smooth haired girl. We got her as a surrender when her elderly owner died. We do believe she was a breeder and has had puppies in the past. She is a sweet, friendly dog who loves people and attention. She will be a great addition to any family. She is a bit of an alpha, so she would do best as an only dog or with a more submissive dog. She was is good with other dogs as she was living with 5 other dachshunds, but she is more of an alpha personality. Our rescue organization adopts within the following states: Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. A fully fenced yard is required to be considered for adoption (no underground fencing).
