Meet Twyla, a super affectionate and sweet 4-month-old beagle mix, who was rescued as a tiny puppy from a drainage ditch. Her 15-pound beagle-mix mama led rescuers to her five puppies shortly after they were born. Now, at a little more than 4 months old, Twyla has already surpassed her tiny mama in weight. Weighing in at 22 lbs currently, we think she’ll be a nice medium size when full grown, possibly around 50 lbs. Twyla just arrived to a new foster home with her two sisters, and their foster mom says these girls are the easiest foster puppies she’s ever had. The three girls recently discovered the comforts of dog beds and now they love to lounge. They haven’t had any accidents inside the house, and they’re already sleeping in individual crates overnight with zero complaining. The sisters are super sweet with one another. They don’t bicker; they prefer giving each other kisses and snuggling up. They don’t mind sharing. Twyla is the sweetest girl who loves to snuggle up with her puppy siblings and her humans. She’s always in search of a good belly rub. She’s super calm for a puppy and is a calming presence for her two sisters, who can be a bit nervous in new situations. Her sweet disposition, calmness and medium size should make her an overall easy dog. Twyla’s foster mom hopes her new home will have the time to devote to making her the best dog she can be with daily exercise and lots of love and attention.
